Weather Stølsheimen Yr

Weather Stølsheimen Storm

This can be a trip in the early summer. Stølsheimen located in an area located between the Sognefjord and Voss. It is not so long routes between the cabins, but I see that it's quite physically demanding terrain. Much up and down.

I think it could be an interesting area to visit. I will start from Dyrkolbotn Fjellstove. Where the bus stops pretty close to the cabin. I initially thought the Kalvedalshytta, but then I had to walk the same stretch 2 times.

Here is a link to the snow conditions in Stølsheimen

I hope I can go in Stølsheimen in 2017. Could not go there in 2016 on the basic of sciatica problems and very bad weather there all summer. It was the rainfall record in Bergen in 2016.

Has before used eTrex Vista HCx as GPS. Now I had to buy eTrex 30 due map Stølsheimen came on a memory chip. Have had some problems to get it to work similar to the old GPS.

Unfortunately it did not have menu for autorouting. To my use it was a big disappointment compared to vista HCx.

Distances are plotted on the map. I've seen before that could add approximately 20% to get the correct distance. Length in parentheses is the right length?
