This will probably be the first trip this year as there is a lot of snow in other mountainous areas.

DNT has unfortunately removed all the old UT routes where it stood description of the route between two cabins. Now I find just the old The Norwegian turistfoenings route descriptions that are old and it says forexample not the time it takes on this route. What also was fine with UT routes was that the route was described both ways.

The new tour suggestions are OK, but they can not replace the routes.

Spidsbergseter - Eldåbu (via Eldåsæter)

On the way past where the path splits to Venabu east of Flaksjøenn and further to the end of the road in Flaksjølia. From here on the trail northwest to Venåssætra and in more northerly direction through cabin area down to Svartåa. Across the river on the year-round bridge Storfallet and a short distance west along the river and then steeply to the north to Eldåsæter. From here there is scant 1 1/2 t to the hut. A short distance on the road and then north on path to where the path splits towards Gråhøgdbu and Bjørnhollia north of Hallhaugen. From west to Eldåbu. Several animal traps on the section Eldåsæter-Eldåbu.

Eldåbu - Bjørnhollia

Part of Rondane trail. Southeast Across from the cabin to the path splits towards Gråhøgdbu, Spidsbergseter and Venabu. From north along the foot of Bågåskardshøgdin and over Hornflågåbekken near the inlet in front Vulutjønna. Furthermore, on the western side of the pond and across the river between the two Vulutjønna and the eastern part of the Inner Vulutjønna. Throughout Steindalen and up the west slope of Geitsida with expansive views. So steeply down to year-round bridge over Myldingi by Gammelsætra and the carriage way up to Bjørnhollia.

Bjørnhollia - Dørålseter (via Langglupdalen)

Part of Rondane trail. Heading north on the road to the trail takes approximately 300 m north of Bjørnhollia. In the east slope of Veslsvulten. Down in Langglupdalen where the creek crossed on summer bridge and up the valley past trail split into Høgronden. Further upward past the trail split into Rondslottet. From the highest point sloping down Bergedalen to where the path splits to Rondvassbu east of Bergedalstjønnen. From here the route is reorganized and is now on the east side of Bergedalsbekken down to Døråe. Not across the river here, but eastward on the south bank of the river past the trail split route over Høgronden and then over Døråe at year-round bridge and up to Dørålseter.

Dørålseter - Haverdalseter

The first part of Rondane trail. Up in the deep vessel Dørålsglupen, many stones, but partially covered with flat rocks in the path. Rugged and bewitching mountain sides. Down to Haverdalen and across the river at year-round bridge. About. 200 meters west of the bridge where the path splits for Rondane path to Grimsdalshytta. From where the path splits to the west in woodland on the north side of Haverdalsåe to Haverdalseter ..

Haverdalseter - Høvringen

Heading west from the cottage along Gravbekken. Sign at the trail shows to mass trapping grave. Where the path splits to Grimsdalshytta by Storrvatnet. From where the path splits to the south over dam at the east end of the lake. So up to Skortbekken crossed just south of the road to Haverdalsæter. Then it goes downhill and on the east slope of Hornsjøhøe. Furthermore over Sletthøe on 1576m.o.h. Particularly at the edge of the wide top is a beautiful view. Then south down to Benkinn with large earthen terraces. Then the trail goes slightly southwest and one must cross the river Kvannslådalsåe. (wading in greater flow). So where the path splits to Dørålseter south of Kvannslådalsåe. So the path south down Kvannslådalen and down to the road and Høvringen mountain lodge.
